does most insurance cover dermotologist visits for acne treatment?

Mine covers regular check ups but I don’t know if it would cover this because it’s not medically necessary, but I want to get my acne treated. Also how much does it normally cost to see a dermatologist for this kind of thing?

    Call your insurance company. I have to pay a copay of $40 everytime I go to see a specialist but just call your insurance they will be able to tell you and give you a list of ones that are covered under it.
