Can anyone explain acne treatment to me? Toners, Washes, etc?

I have had acne for a while, not horrible breakouts, but red, noticeable pimples and would like to be rid of them. I’ve been told I need ****** washes, exfoliators, toners, etc. Can anyone tell me about these and some products that would help. Everyday products would be great (like something I could find a grocery store or Target, etc.)

I am not sure if you can find ProActive at a grocery store but it works great.

My girl friend does always use regulr water worried all those chemicals would make me break out if.

For this same reason that were drying out too much as drying out too try not to use alcohol based toners for this same reason that being said try not to use alcohol.
