Best acne treatment when one is allergic to benzoyle peroxide?My face breaks out in a rash when I use it?

I would like to try proactiv, but my face breaks out in a rash when I use benzoyl peroxide, one of the ingredients in Proactiv. I’m 29 and i still have acne! I’ve heard Proactiv is great, but I don’t want to spend the money. Are there any other treatments out there that are just as effective but without benzoyl peroxide?

everyone is different when it comes to acne, so you’ll have to try lots of different stuff to get rid of your problems. i recommend a product called beautiful skin!

Go to your doctor and tell them your concerns about your skin. He or she can give you a prescription antibiotic that will help control your acne.

Have you tried something with salicylic acid in it. Normally it is about 2 %. There are other treatment creams you can get through your doctor too.

For years since started using this stuff works.
My acne am also allergic to benzoyle peroxide then looked at different makeups and tried every speck of 120 daysi.

The same way my mom took me to dermatologist and he perscribed this stuff called tretinoin cream it works really well unless you use it too much then it works really well unless you use it will dry your face out.

Try Proactive. They have a sensitive formula that doesn’t contain benzoyl. Thier active ingredient is softer so it doesnt irritate

Benzoyle peroxide is horrible for your skin so you wouldnt want to use it anyway.
Instead use “murad” products. It is made by Dr. Murad and instead of benzoyle peroxide he salicylic acid. I can’t tell you how many things I have tired and this works for me. When you first start using the kit, you will brake out, and it kinda discourages you, but it is actually your skin getting rid of all the dirt, oil, etc. Go to

many women, especially with sensitive skin tend to have allergic reactions to BP. The other option is Salicylic acid which is much better and gentle on skin and does not cause irritation.
