Pimple grew after using acne spot treatment?

Monday, November 24th, 2008

I put on nuetragena acne spot treatment on a pimple that was forming. When I woke up the next morning the pimple had formed and was really small. After school I put it on again and the pimple got bigger. Should I continue using this product? And is this part of the process of getting rid of it?

How do you stop and prevent acne? Any acne treatment?

Monday, November 24th, 2008

Alright. Well. I used proactiv but it doesn’t work so good for me. I used it for two weeks and I still didn’t see a difference. I heard that you can treat acne with your everyday products. Well like garlic or something like that. I don’t believe that the products that they have in stores really work. And also, does cholorophine (sorry only I’m only 13), you know the water from your sink that has bad things in it, affects acne. I also heard that you can boil water and then cool it down and use it for your face so its clean and doesn’t give you more brake outs. I’m just looking for a product or just a natural way without products to clean your skin of acne. I’m 13 and I have a lot of pimples even though i wash my face.

I need safe, affordable treatment for acne scars. Does it exist?

Monday, November 24th, 2008

I don’t have extremely deep scars on my face, but they are noticeable and widespread around my face. Depending on the lighting/shadows of a room, they can be very noticeable to not so noticeable.

I have seen a dermatologist, and dumped a couple grand into micro-dermabrasion. I noticed mild results, but could not afford to keep them up. I try to do research, but it is so confusing. Chemical peels, acid peels, lasers, surgeries, home remedies, etc.

I don’t want to do anything super serious with high risk of intensified scarring, or that has long recovery times. I also don’t have tons of cash to waste on unreliable methods. Can anyone offer some suggestions, either from professional or personal experience?

Is there a good acne treatment/medication?

Monday, November 24th, 2008

I have lots of acne all over my ace. Every time I use any acne treatment/medication I always swell up and my face itchs a lot. I have used AcneFree and Clean Clear Acne Clearing System. I am thinking in using Proactive but I am not sure if it works. I also think I am allergic to benzoyl. So, do you think there is a good acne treatment/medication?

What’s the best type of acne treatment for my skin type?

Monday, November 24th, 2008

I have really oily skin, but it’s also sensitive and dries easily. I remember reading somewhere that there’s a certain type of face wash you should use depending on what exactly was wrong with your skin btwn astringents, micro-beads, and regular lathering treatments.. I just forgot which is for what. Does anyone know which I should use?
